Medium Ruby with a tawny rim. Earthy savoury notes with cherry. Palate the same with dry savoury tannins. Nobody does Sangiovese like the Tuscans - made to accompany food - in this case gnocchi with rabbit. Superb.

This is incredible. Earthy to start, brick color, licorice scent. Eventually lent it self to licorice taste, some fruit in the finish. Tannins are present especially on the finish. A beautiful complex wine. Really happy I laid this down, but it probably could go another 10 years. Seriously.
