Tangy dark berries, notes of herb spice, hint of green on the nose. Fresh red cherry, raspberry, thin black tea, hints of tobacco and pepper spice on a good lingering finish. Tastes a bit “California” for an Oregon Pinot but a really great value.

Surprised by the smoky flavor…2020 vintage, so had the smokiness picked up from the fires in California. Very pleasant though… having with Tuscan Pork Tenderloin, garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. 🥰

Opened this because weeknight and wanted a glass with dinner. Not what I expected. Extremely smoky and short dry finish. I don’t mind smoky wine but I have friends that do. I was expecting a lighter more fruity and floral from Williamette region. I would not have guessed this was a Pinot noir.
