In an amazing spot right now and well developed. Highly aromatic nose of wild herbs, smoky ash, dried black cherries. Grippy tannins. Paired with Fettucine and Duck Ragu.

Dried and roasted red/black fruit, worn leather, shiitake, dried flowers, dried beef. Expressing a fair amount of development making me curious on cork. Tannins are melting in nicely.

A full throttle powerhouse, coarsing with volcanic minerals and dark, plummy fruit. A bit of heat, but holds its weight well. Lovely nose of dried fall bouquet, sweet basil, clove and dusty plums. Plenty of tannin and acidity, built for the next 15 years. A testament to taurasi.

Massive on the palate, lots of tart but jammy fruit; oaky tannins that are still really firm. Sweet and sour. Dust and some wet soil on the nose. Not a ton of excitement, a bit boozy. Could be slightly corked.
