Mar 29th, 2015Did you hear that? It was the sound of a delicious bottle of Prosecco popping! Recently I caught up with Mark from Vino Bambino and he gifted me this lovely bottle of Salatin Treviso DOC Prosecco from Italy.
First off, I love the bottle! It has a slimmer neck than your typical wine bottle which made for very comfortable pouring.
FYI: Prosecco is made from the Glera grape.
In the glass it’s a pale yellow shade with fresh kiwi fruit, apple and citrus coming through on the nose. In the mouth it’s juicy, smooth and full of fruity sweetness balanced with lemon acidity. Enjoyable and bang for your buck at $20.
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #winesample #tcweekdaywine
