Equal blend of Aglianico ( not usually grown in Marche ) and Montepulciano. Lots of leather, black fruit, tobacco wrapped up in some massive tannins. Mellowed a bit with air time, but still tannic and tight after a few hours.

Not the best aglianico blend I've had, but still pretty good. Strong notes of leather and cherry with plenty of tannins. Might benefot from some aging amd/or decanting.

Very alcoholic taste, smell, and burn. Dry cherry, pepper, and tobacco. 2012. Good for those that like a bite to the booze.
