Excellent wine for the money. What separates this wine from almost any other Italian I've tried at/near this price point is the rich, full-bodied, silky texture. Has the Sangiovese nose of bright cherry, subtle dark fruits. Tight tannins, dark cherrie, vanilla, subtle Asian spice on the palate.
