Black licorice, smoke, roasted plums, crushed black cherry, fig, cracked pepper, sweet wood, dried flowers, leather, tar, coffee. Complex and so fun to drink. Developed a lot with 2+ hours in the decanter. Tannins are firm, run right down the middle of the palate, and offer this raw/rustic edge to the wine.

Jan 23rd, 2017Nose was filled with dried rose petals and nail polish remover. Palate was filled with cherries followed by a long finish of wet stone.
