Was lucky to pick up several bottles of this magnificent 09 cab at slightly less than $60 several years ago, and I maintain that this is the best Napa cab one can buy at $60. Seems price has gone up significantly.
The smoky and earthy nose was deep and provocative. On the palate it’s like liquid silk, soft, warm and elegant. Ultra velvety tannins.
Luther Vandross at his smoothest.

Finesse, savory, plush, and elegant! Hard to find a better Napa cab at this price point.

So... This one was good but my expectations were very high as everyone in haskells said u will love this ...no pressure. It was bogo so for 35 per bottle it was at 10. @ 70 per bottle...more like an 8.7. There was a bite that I can't explain. It is no silver oak...

2009 vintage. Dark ruby/violet coloring. Well pronounced tannins make for a silky texture on the palate. Dark fruits. Beautifully developed.
