In spite of its Deceptively Fru Fru label, this is a very credible Provence Rose, with all the attributes of a Rose from that region. Crisp, dry with a hint of sweetness; the color of salmon and a taste of citrus. Drank in October 2023. Easy to drink and pairs well with a variety of food.

Oct 12th, 2023Dry, perhaps, but the mineral and herbal notes are far too pronounced for my liking.

Jan 15th, 2023🍷 When is hot and humid out sometimes I just feel like drinking a light and super cold wine. This 2020 The Pale Rosé by Sacha Lichine is exactly that I was looking. Yes, it’s called The pale after its transparent pink color, but don’t let that fool you as it has plenty of flavor. Its expressive in the aromatics as well as in the palate with raspberry, and fresh fruits notes reminding me of Provence style.
It goes in quick as you can see, but this is a great value for under $15 in most markets.
