Delicious, rustic. This is the main varietal in many port wines, and rarely made into a dry wine as a single varietal. Naturally fermented w/minimal intervention. Another winner from Adam Sabelli-Frisch

Totally agree w @Eric Urbani. This is a total winner from Sabelli-Frisch. A fascinating varietal w unexpected and beautifully layered flavors. Ripe black raspberry, currants, some tobacco, leather, and wine root stock (?). The final finish is absolutely reminiscent of port (not surprisingly). Great at PnP, but Definitely improved over 3-5 days open. Will be interesting to revisit some in 5 years, if there’s any left :)
