This is perfectly good Malbec. Not fruit forward, but plum and blackberry come through on the finish. Nice for sipping.

Dark ruby in color with a brick rim.
Light nose of blueberries, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, earth, leather, spices, peppercorn, smoke and chocolates.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, plums, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, spices and lots of peppercorn.

Medium plus in finish with practicality no tannins, black pepper and sour raspberries.

This 4 year old, 100% Malbec, is still drinkable, but it's pretty much gone. Not special anymore. Soft mouth feel and a little watery with a tart ending. Still good right out of the bottle, and better in 20 minutes of airtime.

14% alcohol by volume.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish/brick rim.

Fruity on the nose with barnyard, plums, blackberries, red currants, flowers, cherries, vanilla, earth, chocolates, tobacco, green pepper, oak, dirt, leather, cloves and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body, juicy and spicy, with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with cherries strawberries red currants oak smoke plums blueberries, licorice, currants, earth, vanilla, vegetables, chocolates, spices and peppercorn.

Medium plus on the finish with very soft tannins and bitter herbs.

A nice everyday, simple, Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers.

Needs 15 minutes of air time, and very aprochable after that.
Nice and balanced and drinking nicely now. Not as harsh as a year ago.
