Last bottle of this vintage and vineyard. . . .sad and happy all at the same time. The Frati Lane has been a favorite of mine for years. This bottle didn’t disappoint but I think the 2014 vintage may have already peaked. Dark raspberries on the palate with hints of a spice cabinet and a medium to medium long finish. Love this wine!

This vineyard and vintage have always been one of my favorites. Didn’t have quite the complexity of prior bottles but still had wonderful berries, mild acidity, hints of minerality and just overall goodness.

Nov 29th, 2019One of my all time favorite PN and didn’t disappoint. Only comment is that the 2014 did taste like it either is peaking OR it could need more time. Hard to tell but thankfully I have more bottles to experiment with.
