What a special wine. 2014 was a drought year and the concentration and intensity of dry farmed Pinot comes through in droves on this wine. Acidity has mellowed out since bottling; leather and yeasty/barrel room on the nose; dark fruit, blackberry pie, baking spices, and a deep ruby color. Spectacular wine at ~$50

First ever attempt at smoking salmon on my pellet grill and decided to pair with this Pinot. For the marinade I chose for the meat the wine was a tad bit weak but that doesn’t diminish the overall quality. Seemed to have a bit more blueberry on the nose and palate with some earth tones. Bit lighter than other Sonoma Pinots and might have you think of an Oregon Pinot.

Light, modest dark berry, smooth, modest velvet feel, and I keep searching for more descriptors to simply say, this be good!

Wowza— delicious. Tart, and sweet and jammy and perfect all at the same time. Subtle nose, high alcohol but perfectly imperfect. We’re absolutely amazed by RR wines.
