Wine Selections Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Raspberry and chocolate on this fruity little number. Slightly angular.

Really really very good. Could be a juicy house wine. In my house of course, not yours.

Nice for the price. Pleasant nose; medium body; dark cherry cola, vanilla, and cigar give way to a balanced, lightly tannic finish. Yum.

Light nose, decent pallet and back to a light finish for a Napa Cab.

Good mouth feel. Chocolate and soft. Fruitier than anticipated but good all rounder. Seems to be opening up with more after 30

What can I say, this was really underwhelming. This Napa Cab has typical aromas of blackberry, currant, vanilla and cigar smoke. The tannins were so integrated they basically disappeared. I kept swirling and saying, "this is just so... flabby!" Did not stand up to my porterhouse steak. Not the worst wine, but not nearly as good as the Shiraz I rated before from the same producer. Not worth the $20 price tag.
