
I'll admit, I was skeptical when I read "Roadside Market Red" on the label, but, maybe an hour info the bottle's opening, it is shaping up to have high character. If the first glass had a too-strong taste of fungi and mushrooms, the later pours offer a smooth, tannic fruitiness and earthy character. Definitely a wine to pair with food, and not drink alone.
