Rôtie Cellars
Dre Washington State Mourvedre
Love this wine. Last one I picked up from trip out to Eastern Washington in 2012. This has opened up so nicely smokey deep berries on the nose. Deep rich finish lingering blackberry, vanilla and a hit of whiskey. Nicely balanced definitely plenty of life left.

Blueberry and stewed fruit with a hint of smoke. Smooth.

Oct 8th, 2015Somewhat muted nose. Great acid, nice tannin. Surprisingly light mouthfeel. Good, but overall a little disappointing from what I was expecting.
Edit day 2:
I'm beginning to believe that one can learn how good a wine is by how well it transitions from day to day. This wine improved on Day two a fair amount. I have a feeling that this wine is young yet. It also needs some decent air.
Way more fruit on day two. Really, really nice spice/pepper.

You forgot about Dre? Floral nose, with slight meaty and tar notes. Red fruit with some fig and pepper on the palate. Nice, but a bit overpriced.
