Perfect after baseball wine when the wind is turning cold. Fruit forward, soft oak. Classic cassis and black raspberry. Yum.

Spicy nose brings aromas of cassis, blackberry, cinnamon and a hint of cigar box and leather. The palate is rich with ripe plums and red cherry, black licorice, tobacco, oak and chocolate. Full body, supple tannins with a silky mouthfeel. The finish has some legs but lacks character. Otherwise, excellent value.
