A nice little surprise. A bit to oaky and buttery for me, but a great well made wine that I can appreciate.

2007 bottle no. 556
A glass of buttery goodness.
About as complex and full bodied one will endure with a white.
11 months on oak, 7 years in bottle. This wine is old school Hunter V!

20 years old and fantastic. Deep yellow colour but still some fruit on the nose and that wonderful old style Chardonnay taste. Slightly bitter, woody, buttery with some acidity and great length. Surprised how well this has aged.
