This was a friends wine that we shared with a number of other wines at an excellent meal at Paesano’s in S Philly. This wine is from Friuli and of the Schioppettino grape. Not being familiar with this wine and being 1995 vintage did not know what to expect but it drank great and was loaded with leather, dark plums and some tar. Very enjoyable, smooth long finish and lasted through out the meal.
