Probably the best Cialla I ever had!!!

I made it to @bestiaDTLA. Refosco ftw with Agnolotti alla Vaccinara!

Dark berries mineral, and a touch gamey

Always a great bottle!! Mature Cialla is fantastic!!

To me, never opened. The funk and fruit were in a duel and the funk won on this occasion. Nothing wrong, just wanted more harmony of components.

Killing it

Action shot. I just don’t see much aged refosco on wine lists. This is very elegant, with lots of blue fruit and resolved, almost plush tannins. At Emporio in NYC. Great food and a well curated wine list.

Tannins are resolved. This is very fresh. Dark fruit. Really delicious.

Dark and dusty.
