Opened up with a few hours time, still young: dark forest berries, underbrush, and anise on the nose. Deep, rich blackberries, and almost candied licorice on the palate, with firm tannins on finish. Good now, better in 2-4 years.

On the nose: blackberry, prune, and licorice, showcasing the alcohol. On the tongue, a bit thin, with neither the blackberry or the prune singing out, and a slightly vegetal finish, to boot

Earthy bouquet, fruit forward taste, dry finish but still a bit young. Long decanting helped to smooth out taste. Will be better in a few years.
