At a tasting of -08 vintage champagnes, this was the most distinctive and unusual. Green apples, grape fruit, brioche and prominent melted butter on the nose; it is quite tart and not fully balanced on the palate, which could potentially improve with a few more years of cellaring.

Very nice champs. Slight apple n a little maturity but couldn’t guess eight years on yeast. Very well collected, drinkable w light fruit. Slight caramel in nose.

På pappret har den det mesta. Rätt årgång, by och lååång andra jäsning. Tycker den överlag känns välgjord. Inbjudande doft med lena toner nektar och vit choklad. I smak väldigt syrlig, kan nog lagras många år till. Finns citron, knallpulver och en rejäl eftersmak av gröna äppelskal.

Yeasty aroma; very much like a brioche or good challah. Fine bubbles, yeast, sweet grape must, and a barely perceptible Flint finish. Excellent!
