This is a nice Chardonnay from Sonoma County. Grapes were grown about 20 miles from the Pacific Ocean, which kept them cooler than in other adjacent areas in Sonoma .
Light yellow in color.
Fruity nose with lemon, grass, grapefruit, citrus, vanilla and toasted oak.
Dry on the palate and refreshing with cedar, vanilla, citrus and lime.
Medium to full bodied.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
I actually liked this interesting Chardonnay. Will buy it again.

Begins with exceedingly rich aromas of burnt carmel and buttery pie crust soon as it's poured. Surprisingly bright on the pallate with flavors of yellow apple and pear, finishing with a nice creaminess reminiscent of creme fraƮce. Overall, the oak slighty overpowers some of the nuanced flavors but it still paired well with fresh herb encrusted salmon, and lovely outside meal! ($9) [6/4/2017]

Purchased on sale, great bargain. Little bit of butter with some pear. Great year for Sonoma county.

Clear pineapple notes on the nose, buttery, pear with a full mouth feel. Herbal aromatic finish, little on tongue.

An oakey Chardonnay which happens to be how I like it! Butter, melon, and oak. Not bad!
