Still working through the Cabernet tasting from 7 months ago. Oaky on nose with blackberry and black currant. Not up to it in this company IMO. Choc/mint surprisingly for the Barossa. Medium weight unlike Rockford’s Flagship Basket Press Shiraz.

Absolutely stunning, still plenty of time left. Stacks of fruit, amazing wine!

Started out with big fruit but calmed down some with lamb kebabs. Last glass had mellowed nicely to end as a lovely sip by itself.

I'm at the University of Adelaide, doing an experiment: wines you can buy at the University Staff Club. #1 is a good start - all fruit, cocoa & marzipan
