100% Merlot. Very well made pipe tobacco notes. Touch of coffee.

Medium to dark garnet- red & black fruit on the nose with a slight jammy scent of red plum & berries. Similar in the mouth- fairly smooth with a touch of red fruit. Dry with a touch of chalk or clay, medium tannins and reasonable acidity. A very nice wine to accompany lots of stronger tasting foods.

2009. Won a bet. Got the best wine of my whole life. Very, very good. Darker, bold wine but very smooth.

We enjoyed this fabulous merlot while in Prague. The wine needed to be decanted for about 20 mins and continued to open. Very nice choice!

I think this wine would worth a greater score on a better vintage.
Still, delicious even if so austere and thight. A great wine.
