Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG 2009, 15,5%. Bottle tasted in June 2014. Very intense and dark color. Nose rich of dark fruits marmalade, and spices. In the mouth the tannins are round but prevalent, quite enveloping. Pleasant, but not a favorite of mine.

Очень мощное вино: жимолость и малина, кожа. Полнотелое и весьма танинное, с хорошим потенциалом. Баланс и послевкусие в полном порядке.

Visited winery on a trip to Montefalco, Umbria IT. Super nice people and smooth tasty vino. Ordered older vintage from Delectable and did not disappoint.
