2012 San Gerassimo Robola of Cephalonia PDO

Very crisp and light. A perfect summer wine.

Excellent flavor, a little sweet, honey, and spice

Very pale in color. It’s an extremely light and easy drinking wine. Paired well with fresh tuna and mussels.

I was getting a lot of apple and pear. Slight citrus notes. Not bad at all for a mild spring night in Chicago.

Nose of lemon, hay and white flowers, very interesting. The palate is long with lots of acids, lemon and pear along the acid backbone and a fresh finish with the same fruits. Very nice wine!
