For a low alcoholic blanc from south of the equator. This light body fellow has racy-sharp acidity , notable #greenapple#lemonzest on the nose. Surprisingly balanced finish.

Equally good to sip on its own or paired with a cheese plate.

New grape for me tonight. This one was 60% colombard with 40% sauv blanc. Enjoyed this one. The Colombard seemed to tone down the limey/grassy/minerality I find with most sauv blancs. Knew it was a sauv blanc, but want so “in your face”. I would look for this one again in a heartbeat. Was a 2 1/2 hr drive to the store where we bought this first one! But will look and see if I can get it closer. Was a softer, more subtle sauv blanc character. Had the grassy/ limey quality with hints of tropical fruits. Fantastic siping wine.

A buttery edge and less grassy. Like martins wine but nicer

Soft gooseberry notes and fresh with an almost chalky finish. Not normally a Sav Blanc fan but this was lovely with some seafood tapas!

Pretty good Sauvignon Blanc, crisp but a little tart or acidic. Nose is floral, hint of asparagus or pear. Another WSJ wine from my in laws this past Christmas. Granted it is October in TX but this would be a great summer, out on the back porch wine.
