My kind of wine big, dark, almost chewy. Big black fruit, lush, almost ink grade in color. Great nose, with minerals up front. Some chocolate, silky tannins. Merlot done right

Dark blackberry and tons of alcohol up front, that slowly evolve into something savory and mildly tannic, as though you first tasted the berry sauce and then the herbed duck under it. Purely savory finish. Must have benefited from the age; tannins were just right.

Big, dark berries and jam and earthy edges. Still has nice firm tannins, looooong finish. Wonderful old-world merlot.

This was excellent. Didn't have enough time to air out, but the flavor and balance are there. Good for at least 5 more years.
