More advanced than expected for its age. Sarsaparilla. Black cherry. I think I preferred it two years ago as a youngster.

2nd bottle. Killer. Rich but balanced. Distinctive piney eucalyptus note. Hot damn!

Can't say I share the enthusiasm for this one. Decidedly medicinal nose and flavors are suppressed by a harsh oak note. I have a few more bottles, maybe time will help.

Incredible wine. Delicious ripe Sonoma fruit. Big and creamy. Deft touch with the French oak. Everything in balance.

My favorite pinot. Had it on a wonderful day at the vineyard. Best experience on the trip!

Robert Hunter winery is my new obsession! While I typically go for a red- usually a Pinot noir, I actually LOVED the Chardonnay (which I don't normally ever like Chardonnay - and I sent home 2 cases!!!) the champagne was amazing as well- very much like a French champagne - they grew for over 10 years before the 1st harvest.
