Underripe blackberry, leather, dark cocoa dusted dates, green pepper and inky on the nose. Very Bordeaux like on the palate. Currant, plum and old black cherry. Clay finish. No rush.

This wine has mellowed nicely! This is an 08 and has had some time to get happy in the bottle. Very nice hints of menthol/eucalyptus , bright cherry acid, yet dark cherry chocolate. Tannins are still all there. Throwing some good sediment. I dig it!
