What an excellent meal with a fun wine and a server who was a Somm in training. Darker than expected for Pinot- bold and richer than expected. Better initially that at the end of the night. Dave calls this "reverse decanting."

Big fruit forward pinot. Berry flavors with a little smokiness. Drinking well five years in and still has plenty of life left. .
