Was having a pizza, so what wine will work well? Lambrusco of course. Deep Ruby with big fruity bouquet, a bit crisp. Flavors of fresh red berries good sugar balance for this frizzante style wine. It was fun with the pizza. For $6 grab a few bottles and have a party!

May 13th, 2017One time at a fancy restaurant the sommelier poured a Lambrusco. He claimed it was what the vineyard workers drink when harvesting the grapes. It's only 8%, "you can drink it all day". I never find it. This bottle was a Food 4 Less (Kroger) score at $6. Light juicy, sweet, frothy (frizzante), smooth drinking. "You can drink it all day."
