Crisp, bright fruit flavors, ripping acidity

The Osteiner grape is a German grape variety created from crossing of Riesling and Silvaner. Despite its German roots, Rippon is perhaps the most notable producer of this variety. Nose of lemon, lime, ripe melon and white fresh florals. On the palate, fresh, clean, round and brilliant. Beautiful acidity, lemon, lime, melon, stone fruits, pear, fruit blossoms and citrus peel. More reisling than sylvaner, oily and unctuous in a good way.

Bit of grassy aromas with a touch of petrol. Bright, refreshing acidity.

Riesling x Sylvaner crossing. If I had received it blind I'd have called it Riesling, but there is something slightly different about the fruit profile. It's absolutely delicious, with lush fruit, bright acid, and the schist-like minerality I find in all of their wines. It's the new go to, easy drinking, summer sipper.

Solid. Nuanced. A blind tasters nightmare. NW. candied fruit, banana bread, dried lemon, with hints of petrol.
