Clear, medium to deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of black plums, blackberries, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary flavors of blueberries, black cherries, and tar with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense, but the alcohol is a little high. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it, too.

May be the age on the bottle talking, but this Malbec is singing! Medium purple on the eye with heavy blackberry and plum on the nose. On the pallet the full body is immediately apparent, some ripe dark fruit also present, chocolate and oak as well. The tannings are strong, nice balance to the wine and there is a pleasant finish. Bought this about five years ago and it is certainly a pleasant surprise. Again, lesson learned: never underestimate aging value wines, this is great.

2012 Quinto Malbec. Crystal clear presentation in the glass. Argentina origin with solid, bold flavors. Cedar, tar, leather, ash. A good low-cost weekday drinker. 👍🏼😊

Impressively made. Plummy fruit, but not rich and over-extracted. For $20 retail, very respectable
