One of the better roses! Quite enjoyable with deep fruit flavors and great brightness.

Top rosé of 2015 thus far! I can get more--provided my Garagiste request comes through. Oh heck. If you are into Riesling and if you are also into slightly subtle Pinot Noir you'll flip. If you like a red that is full but cold-blooded you'll get into it. This is my second time reviewing. And if my order is fulfilled won't be my last. What can you get? Here ya go: nose: gasoline raspberries roses(flammable but tasty/smelly) Tongue: medium plus acid a hint of tannin, medium plus alcohol n body and you get a cornucopia of fruit from cherries to grapefruit to an Asian pear to even more. The finish goes on long enough for me to say I'll be writing a whole blog entry at some point. When I get more bottles to think on. Ahem.

A nice dry, fruity rosé. Salmon color. Strawberries on the nose.

Oh heck. Dang you garagiste. I've realized it is generally better to order 2 at a time but...this lovely Baden rosé(?!$) is crazy...kerosene plus roses and cherries and maybe mandarins and/or flippin' blackberries o my when I have a good blank slate for it I shall give another write-up. I've at least got one more! bottle

Wow what a Rose! Fresh complex floral minerals stones all come in and out. Great texture and liveliness on palate and long finish. What a wine from JR. says to leave open four days. Only two bottles total and opened on a lark last minute to Mexican place near Long Wood before cold night visit to Christmas light show. Not the best pairing due to spiciness but a great Rose from German Pinot Noir.

Wow. This one has been sitting in my fridge for a while and with the weather so warm I decided to open up a rose. I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy this and didn’t realize how truly special and rare this was until I opened my notes (thank you JR!). This is a stunning example of what the Germans can do with Pinot noir. Beautiful harmony throughout. Notes of rose pedal that will knock your socks off. Just 75 cases produced.
