The 2014 Blanc de Noirs has a burnished pale straw hue with a vibrant mousse. The bouquet is a knockout mixture of hazelnut, smoke and citric fruit, all wonderfully delineated; light leesy aromas emerge with extended aeration. The well-balanced palate features red apples, orange zest and light morello cherry notes, its concentration offset by a beautifully judged line of acidity. This is a very accomplished Blanc de Noirs from Ridgeview. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2020)

It’s not just that I’m goth at heart. But I really dig blanc de noirs. The fruit and balance on this one deserved more attention and time than I could give a a giant walk around tasting. Very much want to revisit!

Little bit disappointed. This leans more to the oxidative style. Bubbles are a little big in the mouth, and it feels a touch too carbonated as well. Muted flavors of brioche and honey cashew and creme brulee. Just seemed out of balance and the structure a little bit wacky. I don't know if maybe this needs another five years or so in the bottle, as I do realize that it is a 2013 vintage. However, not sure it should be this weird at this point..

Honey. Still like it. 2011 year was better. Best actually.

I don't love sparkling, but blanc de noirs are the closest I come to happiness and this is a really good one. Crisp and clean and floral.
