Mazzoni Home Ranch Zinfandel Blend

Part of the Advanced Tasting Program from Ridge. Excellent Zinfandel blend. This vintage consists of 72% Zinfandel, 22% carignane, 6% Petite Sirah. Fruit forward but well balanced, slight acidity on the back end. This wine pairs nicely with salted meats & cheese. Drink now or hold for a few years.

72% Zin 22% Carigane 6% Petite Sirah

Nose: Heavy red fruit, full, relatively little alcohol

Front: a little watery at first, then fruit, mid has great tannins, not too much

Finish: Cool, floral?, quick
