Not quite DOA-fruit still pretty vibrant-but this is a 1 stop pony, with not a very interesting pony. Imagine that in its day was a bruiser of a wine. Not my fave profile to begin with so perhaps unfair.

This wine always amazes me. It has held up way better than many wines more expensive than it. And it still has more life left. Nice balance, not too over the top, with decent fruit and good finish.

Aug 24th, 2016Just amazing. A great nose to it. So much to ponder. And great drinking with all to expect form a great winemaker. Always one of my favorites when paired against other well known higher rated CA cabs. And this still has years to go. Amazing.
