This is a complex and interesting take on Cabernet, as what seems like a light fruity wine packed with right cherry and blueberry fruits up front evolves in the mouth to reveal a denser, dustier tannic structure with hints of mocha, leading into a lingering pleasant tart finish. The taste improved for us with extended decanting.

2017 vintage seems less exciting than the other reviewed vintages on here. All the flavors you expect to be in a California cab are there but nothing that screams WOW. Decanted to see if it would open up more but no such luck.
