Super Mezcal from this wild agave that matures for harvest after 25-30 years! Usually found growing on steep hills, this beauty is smooth, with black pepper, silky pineapple, and a core of subtle smoke.

Double distilled at 48.27%. I'm getting a lot more tropical notes and green chile on this one. Much softer and delicate than typical tepextates. Not the super earthy funk bomb that I'm used to from this varietal. Still super delicious, but I think demand is driving the market here as these magueys were harvested "joven" as marked on the bottle. A typical tepextate takes 25 years to mature! Still a very special bottle
