Winemaker's Reserve Prayer Rock Vineyards Syrah

I thought about saving this for a couple of years but what the heck. I knew it would be a great wine right now and I couldn't resist opening it tonight. I'm not sorry I did. Spice and vanilla with moderate tannins. Very nice. #rosescafe1

This is the 2011 Winemakers Reserve Syrah. Lots of candied red fruit on the nose and a medium body. Spice, caramel, and white pepper round out the palate. The candied sweet makes this wine hold up against a mildly spicy dish. Nice.
