I’m off until after Christmas so I plan on doing lots of cooking, spending time with family and relaxing! Color of dark dried blood with shades of purple, just a bit hazy. Nose of leather, currants, some fresh grapes too, some cranberry, and blackberry. Taste follows the nose with addition of spice and refined tannins, some more sweetness from ripe grapes and a bit hickory, and a bit grassy tobacco leaves. Aftertaste has some more sweetness, zest, and grassy note. On par.
