Definitely a Moon Mountain Cabernet with the lush blackberries on the palate. Hints of boysenberry & cinnamon

All Repris wines are excellent & this is no exception. Eric Bradley has mastered making wines very unique but all share a common smoothness.

So cool to be drinking this vintage. Our first trip to the winery was during harvest 2014, had the chance to help sort the Cab grapes as they came in from this particular vineyard.

Deep blackberry, cassis, fresh bay leaf, brown sugar, charcoal, hints of oak, earth and cinnamon stick all framed out with lively acidity. This is a very elegant, refined style. Obviously the stellar job we did sorting and de-stemming the fruit led to such clean, bright flavors 😉

Typically I love this wine; this ‘11 is not showing as well as it has in the past. Not bad, but the depth of fruit is not there. BlackBerry, sage, some tart cranberry in there.

Solid Sonoma cab. Not heavy or overly done. Blackberry, boysenberry, smoke, rich minerals, and hints of eucalyptus. My first taste of this wine in the 2014 vintage. Needs lots of time.

Purple in the glass. The nose on this was great. Blackberry jam, blueberry pie, bay leaves, and smoldering charcoal. Really opened up with a 1 hour decant. Loads of blackberry, boysenberry, and minerals. I think this was my last 13 unfortunately.

An extra year in bottle since I've tasted this last has upped my score on this. Classic Moon Mountain flavors; luscious blackberry, boysenberry, and cinnamon. Light bodied, but deeply extracted and flavorful. There is a sense of place present; rich mountain soil and fresh bay leaves. Finishes with some crushed pink peppercorn.
