Moon Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon

Top tier Sonoma cab. Beautiful garnet in the glass. Notes of cigar tobacco, leather, toasted oak, pencil shavings, and green pepper waft up. The palate is deeply flavorful and complex. Blueberry, black currant, new leather, sliced green pepper, more toasty oak, sweet smoke, and allspice. Light on its feet and nuanced, all the elegance of right bank Bordeaux, even though this is a Cabernet based blend.

Perfect pairing for Game of Thrones. Green bell pepper giving way to slate, graphite, stewed cherries. Soft tannins.

Very nice actually light CS. “Right Bank” style with only only Merlot Dandrades Cab Franc.
