Left Bank Moon Mountain District Red Blend

@Joe Lucca thank you my friend for sharing this bottle with me. Not all 11’s are created equally. Sick nose of molten milk chocolate and forest floor. Love it. Such a balanced wine with no edges. Hybrid of old/new world. This is a can’t miss wine. Fig and blackberry mingle well on the front palate. Light and plush tannins. Finish gives way to charcoal and wet stone aftertaste.

What can I say - always good & gets better with age. Great birthday present!

We started the evening with a Repris Cab Franc which was a nice primer to our favorite Left Bank. It was great to share with friends. I’ve been drinking this brand since 2016 & has never disappointed. We went on to the Heritage Clones Cab afterwards to top off the evening.

Weirdly I liked this a lot more last time. Hmm...
