Amazing to drink now but still has plenty of life left. Traditional style from the Pajana cru in Monforte. Decanted for 1 hour. showing fresh and fragrant anise, tar, and dried flowers

Cloudy garnet with orange hue rim. Med+ viscosity. Red dried floral fruit. Used oak, fungus earthy on palate. High acidity & tannins. Med+ alc. Really starting to show age!!!

damn good barolo. smooth, dark berries that linger for days and great depth with some serious tannins. prob even better in another 5 years.

Wildly tannic and powdery on the tongue, this intensely floral, petrol-driven Barolo took three hours to really start to show. Might have softened overnight, but we finished her off! Rose petals, sage, pencil lead, kirschwasser. Needs time in the bottle.

Probably a bit past it's prime, but still serviceable.

Lovely wine, opened nicely. Big, full, but still quite delicate.
