Beautiful Pinot. The Relic folks know what they are doing. Creamy berries with just the right amount of tart acidity. Very soft integrated tannins.

Open. Some Bret. Blew off. Currant wet stone and chopped walnuts on nose Super dense flavors is like a spoonful of blackberry jam. Some candy chrerry on finish. Excellent.

Wow what a payoff for proper cellaring of this stupendous Pinot. This region could be the CA equivalent of Grand Cru. Dark color and exotic nose, captivating wine. Rich dark cherry and spicy on the palate. The texture and weight are impressive. So great with our roast Poussin and crispy potatoes.

Kashaya vineyard is only 4 miles from the Pacific Ocean, keeping the vines cool, but high enough to reduce the fog effect and increase sun exposure. Nice roundness and fruit for a Pinot Noir. Could drink this all year!
