Petroleum and a hint of honeysuckle on the nose. On the palate I get chalk, minerals, wet cement, peach, honey, and light citrus with the petroleum notes still lingering in the nose. A clean, light acid finish. An excellent Riesling.

A darker yellow color than most Rieslings, clear with no sediment. The nose gives off powerful petroleum notes. On the palate the petroleum is mixed with chalky minerals, tart quince, lemon and lime. The finish is tangy citrus with medium minus acid. This is a powerful and complex dry Riesling.

I don't normally care for Riesling , but this one was okay in my book. not too syrupy, not too sweet. I could definitely enjoy this one again.

It possesses the aroma of a dry, mineral-laden Riesling, but is sweeter than I expected. However it did pair nicely with a spicy Indian curry. The name could be shortened so as not to remind me of a WW1 Baron.
