Earthy, tobacco, dirt smell but not overwhelming. Goes down smoothly with a dry and tanniny aftertaste. Nice blend of dark cherries, rich currants, and slight lemon which makes it acidic. I'm not a huge fan of blends, but this is very drinkable even without food.
